Charities APHW supports during the giving season...and beyond

America’s Preferred Home Warranty (APHW) is known for our helpful home warranties and award-winning customer service. While our main focus is to help homeowners, we also dedicate our resources to supporting agencies that actively serve several communities.

Our frequent contributions to the organizations below effect positive change, improving lives. If one or more speaks to you, click the agency names to learn more!

Helping our neighbors stay healthy

These organizations work to eliminate disease by detecting it early and helping those who are currently affected. We work alongside them to make the next generation a healthier one.

Relay for Life of Jackson County

The American Cancer Society began this initiative to raise money and awareness to make cancer a thing of the past. We hold fundraisers for the cause all year long, culminating in a two-day event for each chapter nationwide to celebrate fighters and survivors, and to remember those we’ve lost.

This cause is close to our heart, as our original owner, Doris Anderson, ultimately lost her battle with this disease. We continue to honor her legacy by raising record amounts in her honor.

Children's Miracle Network (CMN)

When someone has a child in need of surgery, diabetes management, or trauma care, where do they go? With donations from kind individuals like you, people can reach out to the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) to help close the financial gaps, making it easier for their child to get the professional attention they need.

With a host of fundraisers, corporate partnership opportunities, and an online shop available, there are several ways to help keep the 32 million annual patient visits going.

Cleveland Clinic Children's—Rehabilitation Center

Sometimes, medical conditions or injuries affect a child’s ability to use their bodies to their fullest potential. Funds sent to Cleveland Clinic Children’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation combat this by helping children stay physically strong and keep their changing bodies moving.

Whether it’s treatment for chronic pain, mobility concerns, or the effects of a brain injury, supporting this program at Cleveland Clinic Children’s means supporting the next generation’s opportunity to move more freely and fluidly through this world.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Getting access to safe and effective treatment is always important, but for some, it’s even more vital. Each year, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital puts 82% of all donations toward dramatically increasing childhood cancer survival rates while covering costs for 8,600 pediatric patients annually.

This legendary hospital not only gives children with cancer better odds for survival, its staff work on legendary initiatives like the Pediatric Cancer Genome Project, giving us all hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Project Detect

Each year, residents in Florida’s Riverwood community take part in a 5K and golf tournament to raise funds for early cancer detection screenings for uninsured or underinsured residents in Charlotte County, Florida.

This volunteer-organized program collects donations for the Virginia B. Andes Volunteer Clinic and the Englewood Community Care Clinic, two healthcare facilities that provide access to healthcare where many residents may otherwise have none.

Total giving from the last decade has exceeded $350,000 – and with your help, the sum and effect of all received contributions will only continue to rise.

Samaritan's Purse

When disaster strikes, who’s there to answer the call? Samaritan’s Purse is an organization that puts your donations toward the staff and equipment needed to respond quickly to community needs all over the globe.

By providing everything from education, to emergency medical care, to Christmas presents for those who would otherwise go without, Samaritan’s Purse makes the world brighter by reminding children and adults the world over that someone cares.

Funding organizations for all kinds of families

These agencies know that a community cannot be at its best until all its members are cared for, and they work tirelessly to ensure that no one is forgotten.

Child and Family Charities

For over 110 years, Child and Family Charities has been a resource for youth and families who are under-resourced and/or processing trauma. Their 30+ divisions and programs have broken generational cycles—producing more positive outcomes for children, adolescents, and their parents—while funds raised from events like their annual Red Nose Ruckus allow them to be a guiding light for more than 8,000 youth and families.
