With APHW, you can hire any licensed contractor for all covered repairs. That means you’re in control of who comes into your home, and when. Because the contractor works for you (not us), you get a true third-party opinion.

Step 2: Pick a Payment Option

Once you’ve received telephone approval, the next step is payment. Since your contractor isn’t employed by APHW, they’re not required to accept payment directly from us — which is why we offer multiple ways to pay:

Option 1: We Pay the Contractor by Credit Card

  • Once the work is complete and verified, we pay them on the spot by phone.
  • It’s fast, easy, and there’s no waiting.
  • Why don’t all contractors take this? Some can’t accept credit cards or choose not to because of processing fees.

Option 2: You Pay the Contractor, We Reimburse You

  • Pay your contractor directly.
  • Email us the “paid in full” invoice.
  • We’ll send you a check within a few business days.

Option 3: Get Paid Faster with ACH Direct Deposit

  • Enter your bank info into our secure portal.
  • Funds typically arrive just a few days after approval.
