Employee testimonial: When priorities change, opportunities grow

Chelsey needed a career change. After a decade of working in fast food, she applied for the more structured schedule she found at America’s Preferred Home Warranty (APHW). Now she’s closing in on her three-year anniversary—and says she’s making more in APHW customer service than after ten years with her previous employer.

“APHW pays well, and it’s a great place to work at,” Chelsey described. “The management team really makes it a nice place to be—I like the coaching every week, because it really helps to know what I need to improve and work on. The quotas are reasonable, and everyone is just very friendly and easy to talk to here.”

Chelsey is known for her hard work here as well: She was recently recognized as the company’s March 2022 Employee of the Month for the “tremendous support” she provides to our customer service team and supervisors, assisting wherever she is needed. The award came as a surprise, but it made Chelsey feel appreciated. “I was not expecting it at all,” she said.

Now she’s considering applying for another opening within the company to further her career. “As the company grows, more positions open up frequently,” Chelsey shared. “Your ability to move up here is awesome.”
