“I have to be honest; I really don’t look at my numbers.” These words don’t come from arrogance, but 100 percent truth: Jina Legeza’s focus is not on totals or amounts. It’s on ensuring the success of the agents she works with—or as she puts it, her family.
“It’s always about giving back and helping,” said the America’s Preferred Home Warranty (APHW) Northwest Ohio Area Sales Manager (ASM). “It’s an absolute privilege and honor to be a part of every single real estate transaction, and I’m definitely a partner to my agents. I feel like they’re my family, and I think that’s important to where I’m at today.”
APHW recently recognized Jina as their 2020 Top Producer for bringing in the highest revenue in sales as an ASM for 2020—not to mention being the first female in the company to do so. Yet as amazing as it felt to achieve this, Jina found her focus back on her clients, even during the ceremony. “I remember thinking that I should be in the moment; but my thoughts were on how I could help the agents reaching out to me,” she said.
But being helpful is really the spearhead behind Jina’s success. “I’m interested in how I can impact people,” she said. “What can I do to change your life, bring you happiness? I remember working on a call about a heat exchanger at 8 p.m. on a Christmas Eve. That’s what I live for; when I sleep at night, I need to feel like I’ve done everything I can to help. It’s all about doing good.”
Gratitude is another driving force for Jina, specifically for the opportunities she’s gained through APHW. “This company has taken me from a single mom who really wasn’t making ends meet to making all of my dreams come true,” Jina said. “The sky is the limit, and it just makes me cry with appreciation. I am so grateful to Terri, Rodney, Mike, and Randy for giving me the shot, and to Luke for trusting this territory to Matt and myself. I love my job, and I know it sounds cheesy, but I feel that God made me to do it. I really, truly do.”
